Hocus Pocus User Focus

This is an exhibition of Industrial Design studentsfor the Dutch Design Week 2005. As a chairman of the organizing committee I led a team of 4 other students. My vision for this project was to create an engaging design exhibition that is even fun for a child. Visitors should not only look at the designs, but also actively experience the concepts. Therefore projects were selected with highly interactive prototypes. Instead of the casual warnings ‘Do not touch’, people were invited with ‘Try me!’-signs.

Responsibilities:

  • Team leader
  • Exhibition design (Vision, Concept, Design, Implementation)
  • Project Planning
  • Maintain close contact with all stakeholders (exhibitors, Lucid, Industrial Design department, Studium Generale, TU/e and Design Platform Eindhoven)
  • Management of volunteers
